MREIS is hiring a builder.

We are seeking an AI Process Engineer to architect and deploy AI-driven systems that increase speed, productivity, and operational leverage across the organization. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is responsible for transforming how work gets done by eliminating manual processes and replacing them with intelligent automation.

This individual will operate at both a technical and strategic level, collaborating directly with senior leadership to identify high-impact opportunities and convert them into scalable AI solutions.

This role is based in our Nashville, TN office.

What You Will Own

Enterprise Automation

  • Audit and redesign business processes across brokerage, marketing, research, operations, and leadership.
  • Build and deploy AI agents to automate research, underwriting support, CRM updates, reporting, document production, communication workflows, and internal coordination.
  • Eliminate repetitive manual tasks and replace them with intelligent systems.
  • Create automation frameworks that scale across offices and teams.

Executive & Leadership Collaboration

  • Partner directly with business unit leaders and executives to identify operational friction and high-leverage automation opportunities.
  • Translate strategic business objectives into technical automation roadmaps.
  • Present automation strategies, pilots, and performance metrics to leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on AI implementation and operational transformation.

AI Tool & Agent Development

  • Rapidly prototype and deploy internal tools using Lovable, Superblocks, Manus, and comparable AI platforms.
  • Build lightweight internal applications, dashboards, workflow systems, and automation pipelines.
  • Integrate APIs, CRMs, databases, and third-party tools into unified workflows.
  • Continuously test, iterate, and improve deployed systems.

Operational Leverage

  • Quantify time savings, efficiency gains, and ROI from automation initiatives.
  • Build systems that increase output per employee without increasing headcount.
  • Develop internal AI standards and best practices to ensure long-term scalability.

Innovation & Competitive Advantage

  • Stay ahead of emerging AI tools, agent frameworks, and automation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI as a strategic differentiator.
  • Build a roadmap for AI deployment aligned with executive strategy and growth goals.

Ideal Candidate

  • 2–3+ years in automation, AI implementation, systems engineering, or workflow design.
  • Proven experience building AI agents or production-grade automations.
  • Hands-on experience with vibe coding or low-code AI platforms such as Lovable, Superblocks, Manus, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, data integration, and workflow orchestration.
  • Ability to operate confidently with senior executives and translate strategy into execution.
  • Builder mindset with high ownership and bias toward execution.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and direct executive visibility.

Salary Range – $80,000 – $120,000
